Incremental encoders with solid shaft or hollow shaft
Incremental rotary encoders generate a specific number of pulses per revolution (PPR), producing output signals A and B that are phase-shifted by 90 electrical degrees, along with a reference pulse Z. Both standard and inverted signals are available in various configurations. Common driver output variants include RS422 (TTL) and Push-Pull (HTL). Incremental encoders are especially effective for measuring speed, angle, and distance.
